Having a healthy workforce can reduce sickness absence, lower staff turnover and boost productivity which is good for employers, workers and the wider economy of Kent. These unprecedented times have shown how important it is to look after our staff’s wellbeing. The programme is managed by Medway Council on behalf of Kent County Council.
The programme launches officially in October 2020, and is now open to businesses to register their interest and attend one of the launch events which are all taking place on Zoom:

The core services are free and they can work with you to identify the health issues affecting your staff, and to develop a bespoke health and wellbeing plan. Even if you do not have any health or wellbeing concerns for your workplace or already run health initiatives, you can still be supported to gain accreditation for your business.
They can offer support around particular issues affecting your workplace including: • stress and mental health awareness • smoking cessation • alcohol use • physical activity and healthy eating • suicide prevention
