Tell us three fun facts about you!
I'm a Soul/Motown singer and have performed in many amazing places such as The Gherkin in London and a Chateau in St Tropez. My Great Uncle was the original drummer behind Animal from The Muppets. I have an unnatural love for pickled onions!

Why did you decide to set up your business in Ashford?

I set up The Pamper Rooms in August of 2020. I used to work down the road with Luxe Studio Cosmetics which I loved but needed a bigger space for my growing business.

What is the best thing about working in Ashford?
My salon is fantastic for people watching whilst having your treatments! Great big windows. Many clients say that so all must be as nosey as me!

What is your favourite part of your job?
I love my clients! From the gossip to the happy stories and when clients feel they can confide in me for the not so happy story’s. I like to think i can help if they just want to talk.

Do you have any advice for someone looking to open and set up their own business?
Go for it! Don't be scared. But it isn't easy, you have to be willing to put in the hard work and not give up. My first week i was out in the high street handing out price lists and talking to people. The more work you put in the better it will work for you.

What is the most interesting or unusual nail design you’ve created?
I have a client who is a school teacher. Her kids pick the theme, from the Solar System to Snakes & Ladders
