A huge, concrete canvas in the heart of Ashford which urgently needs decoration! Sounds like a job for international artist and local resident, Mr Doodle! Mr Doodle, otherwise known as Sam Cox, is famous for having recently doodled over his entire house in Tenterden, covering every inch of the interior and exterior surface and even his car!
Mr Doodle loves nothing more than creating artwork in public spaces, the bigger the better, but what had made this project even more appealing to Mr Doodle is the fact that it's in Kent! The brutal appearance of this building makes it an ideal space for a bold, bright and happy mural.
The intention is to create a mural which is easily recognised and in keeping with the ‘doodle’ style that the artist is most well-known for throughout the world. Mr Doodle really wants this mural to be a positive addition to the town. He truly believes that art, in particular doodles, can enhance a building, brighten up an environment and in turn, make people smile and feel positive.
