October is shaping up to be a fantastic month of family friendly activities in Ashford. Plus, with half term fast approaching, we have you covered for fun ways to entertain the kids this month.
Little Land
Head to Little Land in Park Mall for some family fun! Little Land is a brand new role-play centre for little people aged six years and under.
Complete with a series of shops, cafes, a supermarket, hairdressers, vets and other recognisable high street businesses, your little ones will love role playing and exploring real life situations in a safe and stimulating environment. There is also a café and seating area for parents and carers to enjoy, as they get to sit back and relax while watching their children play.

Victoria Park Playarea
Have you seen the amazing new facilities which have just opened at Victoria Park in Ashford? There's now:
- A HUGE new play area!

- A pump track designed and built by the team behind the London 2012 Olympic BMX track!

Harry Potter Park Trail
Victoria Park and Watercress Fields is once again putting on their popular Harry Potter themed trail, and this time, the pixies are out! Get your robes on and help us gather them up- and don't forget to keep your eyes open for that golden snitch!
With prizes for those who complete the trail and additional treats* for those dressing up in Harry Potter related wear, this will be a free family day you won't want to miss!

Disney Sing-Along Cinema Screening
Welcome to the family - Madrigal! If your family is Disney mad, then you will love the Encanto sing-along events coming to Ashford Picture House this October!
It's all part of the month-long celebration of live music and events as part of Create Music Village.
Kids Yoga at Boys Hall
While the kids enjoy yoga on the lawn, parents can relax and have breakfast at the beautiful and historic Boys Hall.

The class is run by Simeon Wright, more commonly known in Ashford as The Yoga Man. With his beaming smile, strong sense of community and his passion for creating a space for children to be creative and build self-confidence, you can see why his class members adore Simeon’s yoga sessions so much.

Discover the colourful Ashford Unframed murals across the town. Download the trail map and tick them off as you go along! It's FREE, and fun for all the family.
Creative Arts for young people
To help decrease the likelihood of young people engaging in what is perceived as anti-social behaviours, creative art workshops will be running this month. This project is funded by the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner through their Community Safety Partnership.
Sessions will include games, art, music, drama and other creative activities to support engagement, self-expression, social interaction and personal development.
Sessions: Every morning commencing Monday 23rd Oct – Friday 27th Oct at 10am - 12pm.
