Primark is Coming to County Square, Ashford

Exciting news for Ashford shoppers: Primark is coming to County Square.

The popular fashion and lifestyle retailer is expected to open its new Ashford store in the second half of 2027. It will move into the former Debenhams and Select units, which are being combined to create a large 29,000 sq. ft. retail space across almost half of the upper oval at County Square.

Once open, the store will offer Primark’s much-loved ranges, including fashion, kidswear, beauty, lifestyle and homeware, as well as its Click & Collect service. It will join more than 45 stores already based at County Square, including well-known names such as New Look and Next.

Primark’s UK Retail Director, Kari Rodgers, said the brand knows there has been strong demand for a store in Ashford and is looking forward to bringing great value clothing to the town. Stacey Bell, Centre Manager at County Square, described the announcement as a fantastic boost for the shopping centre, bringing more choice for shoppers and supporting local jobs.

Work to prepare the unit will begin shortly, with the official opening date to be announced nearer the time. County Square will share updates through its social media channels and monthly newsletters as the project progresses.
