Big Green Week

 The Great Big Green Week Roadshow will be taking place in Ashford Town Centre. The theme this year is repair, reuse and recycle – there is no such thing as waste!

Head down to Park Mall and the Town Centre for:

⭐Market stalls:  offering information to help you make more sustainable choices in your life

⭐Recycling Stations: Recycle old cables,  kettles, toasters and other small electrical items. If they are still in good working order, donate them to Pilgrims Hospices.

⭐The Repair Café Ashford: Have your items repaired and fixed, from small electrical items to furniture, clocks and clothing, the Sewing Circle will be in Park Mall and will work their best to restore your items.

⭐Pre Loved Craft Market: Run by Made in Ashford in Park Mall

⭐The Junk Yard Orchestra: Listen to live music on the bandstand and make music with ad hoc jamming sessions and instrument making workshops for the family.

⭐Eat Well Spend Less Roadshow:  On Wednesday 14 June in Park Mall, with a focus on reducing food waste in your home -saving you money, time and helping the environment.

⭐Bio Blitz at Conningbrook Lakes on Sunday 18 June. Run by Kent Wildlife Trust, discover what mini beats call the area home and enjoy nature inspired activities. This will be bookable through www.kentwildlifetrust.com
