The second of two folk music workshops organised by Ashford Folk and lead by James Kerry as part of Create Music Village 2024. James plays extensively at ceilidhs and for morris dancing. A founder member of Foot Down and the Hilltop Ceilidh Band, he has taught at workshops in many venues and festivals both in the UK and abroad. In recent years he oversaw the youth band sessions and outreach at Broadstairs Folk Week.
The workshops are open to musicians of any ability (and instrument) with an interest in folk music. Email enquiries@ashfordfolk.org for more information and to book your place.
