SEATED EVENT-OVER 18s ONLY
A unique evening of music and chat with Punk pioneer Glen Matlock, who rose to fame as guitarist and songwriter of Sex Pistols. They released one classic studio album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols, changing the direction of rock forever.
Always in demand live, Glen has heeded the call from all corners of the musical world, whether it be the rockabilly of Robert Gordon or reformed Faces. His knack of continual inspiration and invention comes in part from his belief in just getting out there and engaging. Picking up his guitar and delivering an acoustic set, either in his beloved London, or some far flung outpost in the global rock universe, keeps Glen grounded and in tune with life and its stories.
He has also formed the band Rich Kids and worked with Iggy Pop and The Damned.
Glen is joined for this very special Q&A by Chris Hawkins (BBC Radio 6). Chris is also a regular voice on Radio 5 Live and regularly presents Radio 4’s Pick of the Week. On screen, Chris often appears on BBC Breakfast TV, The BBC News Channel and presents films on BBC Inside Out.
Event is followed by a Book Signing
