Create Music Village - Ashford Young DJ competition

We’re on the look out for Ashford’s next big thing! Calling all bedroom DJs looking to showcase your DJ skills. Open to 13-17 year old residents of the Ashford area.

Submit a 10 minute mix and our panel of music industry judges will be shortlisting 4 young DJs to battle it out in front of a live audience to compete for Ashford Young DJ of the Year 2025!

Bring your friends and family to this free event, grab some food & drink and see how the next generation of local DJs are shaping up! Hosted by DJ Simon Reo in collaboration with Kent DJ Academy.

THE PRIZES:

• 1st Prize – trophy / 2 hr DJ teaching session with Kent  DJ academy / opportunity to DJ at Coachworks for a future event / goodie bag & certificate
• 2nd Prize – 4 x cinema tickets & goodie bag & certificate
• 3rd & 4th Runners up – goodie bag & certificate

Deadline for submissions Wednesday 1 October 

To Apply : 

• Film your best 10 Minute (Max) Mix  (using phone is fine, make sure it’s in landscape format )
• Acceptable Genres Include: Funky House,dance,nu disco, house, afrobeats,floorfillers  and party vibes NOTE NO DRUM & BASE or TECHNO Please
