About

STANDING EVENT (Doors open at 7.30pm)

Low Girl is the work of multi-instrumentalist Sarah Cosgrove and her bandmates Toby, Tom and Brad. Described by DIY Magazine as “a peppy new pop talent”, the band released debut EP Big Now in May 2021 and haven’t looked back since. The EP was preceded by the release of the title track, which picked up support from BBC Radio 1Radio X and was featured on the ‘New Music Fix’ playlist on BBC 6Music, as well as strong support from DIYThe Line of Best Fit and Spotify to name a few.

Always wanting to present bodies of work, Low Girl have released three EPs to date, alongside their four singles. Steve Lamacq is a big supporter at BBC 6music, with previous single ‘Bored’ going on to be playlisted, alongside Jack Saunders at BBC Radio 1, the station that made their second single ‘So Cool’ BBC Introducing TOTW. Spotify support has also been strong for the band, with three of their five single releases hitting the coveted New Music Friday UK playlists, as well as Hot New Bands, Fresh Finds and Melomania

Don’t forget you saw them here first !

SUPPORT- THE FAR FIELD

For bandmates Nicola Tee, Katie King, Dan Lucas, Adam McVey and Cam Sheppard, the sprawling fields and forests of Kent offer the backdrop which has inspired the bands emotive and cinematic indie aura.
Taking influences from post-rock, post-punk and 90’s emo, The Far Field have been described as a cross between Band Of Horses and The Appleseed Cast, but with beautiful Alvvays inspired female vocals.
